How long does it take from the time I place my ONLINE credit card order till I get the addresses I ordered?

Orders placed on our web site, prior to 9:00 am PST (Monday-Friday), excluding holidays,
will be processed the same business day. Orders received after 9:00 am PST
(Monday-Friday) will be processed the next business day.

If you do not recieve your order according to the schedule, wait at least 24 hours, then send us an email message to info@heart-of-asia.com and we will trace your order. Be sure to refer to the order reference number that was confirmed when you placed an online order. The most frequent reason clients do not get their order on schedule is that they gave us an incomplete return email address. Please type your order carefully! Note: PLEASE be patient and wait at least 24 hours before requesting a trace. Traces requested before we have been given time to even start to process an order usually result in DELAYS as we have to pull the order out of its position in the processing queue to find it and check its status.

How does the two for one guarantee work?

Just use the mailing addresses that you receive and write to the ladies. If one has moved and hasn't updated her address, the letter will come back to you. As long as the envelope is postdated within 30 days of you getting the addresses from us, just send us the envelope and choose TWO more ladies as a replacement. I notice that many of the ladies personals say "Telephone Available" or "Email Available". What does this mean? Is there an extra charge?

Phone or email available means that this information is freely provided by us at the same time we sell the mailing address of a lady to you. The lack of the phrase "Phone/Email Available" does not necessarily mean that the lady does not have access to telephone or email. It just means she has not given us permission to release these numbers.

Note: We do not attempt to telephone or email our members so we DO NOT KNOW if the telephone number or email she provided is correct. We provide the available information free of charge, as is, without verification. Remember, all mailing addresses are verified, and Guaranteed FRESH. Telephone and email, have not been verified, they are provided free of charge, as is, and are NOT covered under the Guarantee.

DO NOT CALL THE MEMBER WITHOUT INTRODUCING YOURSELF FIRST!. The first time you contact these ladies we recommend you do it via snail mail. It is always a bit frightening for a gal to recieve a phone call out of the blue from a stranger. It is best to introduce yourself first via snail mail. If you prefer to make contact via telephone you can suggest in your letter that you would prefer to continue the correspondence via telephone. In the letter you can request the gals telephone number.(even if you already have it). If she grants you permission to phone and anticipates your call you will have better results. She can also advise when is the best time for you to call so you will not create friction at her home or work by calling at inopportune times.

I tried telephoning the lady and I couldn't get through..

In the case you tell us of a problem with a members phone number, we will check her original application form to see if we typed it correctly. If an error is found we will send you the correction. If no error is found, we assume that she no longer has access to the number she told us and will remove "Telephone Available" from her records. We do not provide a replacement address as her mailing address only is guaranteed. You should write her directly, introduce yourself and ask for her new number.

I tried emailing a lady and the message was undeliverable.

I purchased an address six months ago. I now see that the members bio page says "Telephone available", please send me her new number.

If it has been less than 30 days since you ordered the address we will "refresh" her address by sending it to you again, including any telephone numbers or email she has provided. This is free of charge. If your order is more than 30 days old, then there is a $2 charge for each address you wish to "refresh".

What happens to my email address after I order some addresses or if I sign up to get the weekly First Choice Alert? Will my address be passed on to other companies?

Absolutely NOT! We only use our clients email address for the purpose they request, either to deliver addresses to them or to send the First Choice Alert. We do not sell or rent these addresses. We protect our clients privacy. If you order the weekly First Choice Alert and later decide it is not useful for you any more, just email us and ask to be taken off the list. This is done, right away.

What happens to my snail address after I place an order. Will my address be passed on to other companies?

Same as above. We never send mail to your snail address (unless you have paid extra for snail delivery). And we never release your address to anyone.

Why do you require my address when I make a credit card order?

While authorising a credit card payment, our bank compares the address we have recieved on your order with your billing address in their records. Only if the addresses match and your credit is good will we be given approval to accept your credit card. The address information is used only for this verification purpose, never for anything else. I'm planning a trip to Asia. Can you arrange for me to meet some ladies while I am there?

We don't directly organize tours or activities for visitors. In general your best approach is to choose some ladies who live in the countries you will visit, write to them, and get to know them a little. Ask for their phone numbers. When you are in town, meet them individually for a cup of coffee. If there is mutual chemistry you can see them again while you are there.

I am flying to manila this friday and plan to pop in on at least one of the gals whose address I just received. Since I do not have the time to write what do you suggest?

"Poping in" causes extreme embarassment to any lady. And is never welcome.  I can not imagine a more impolite act. Certainly this is an act that will make such a negative first impression that no future relationship will be possible. None of these girls wants her father, mother, family, and gossipy neighbors to see a stranger knocking at her door.

My suggestion, if you plan to be in the area and do not wish to pursue the proper approach of a slow exchange of letters,  is to express mail a complete introduction about yourself, your letter, photo, etc. Then  advise the lady the hotel you would be staying at while in town, and request that she telephone to arrange a meeting. If she responds, then she can help organise a meeting that may have a positive result.

Our service is that of a penpal club. ie, a liesurely method for people to write letters back and forth.  Hopefully with relationships developing. This takes time and patience. When these ladies join the club, they expect letters, not to have their privacy invaded and reputation in their family and neighborhood tarnished.

Are these listings up to date? At other web sites, I've seen photographs that stay there forever!.

We directly contact the ladies who join our club four to five times each year. If they aren't interested in receiving your letters, they tell us and we remove them from the database. If you purchase an address and she has moved and the letter comes back to you, we give you two other addresses of your choice to compensate. And of course we remove her listing right away. Our records are updated each time we open our mail, so when you place your order, please also choose one or more alternates, just in case one of your initial choices drops out before your order can be processed. We will never sell you an address, if we think there may be a problem with it.

Should I skip the women listed on Page 1 and just look at the ones on the very highest numbered pages?

Since we update the web pages continuously, each of the women listed, first or last is still available and wants to hear from you. If she has been looking for awhile maybe she is selective, and is saving herself for the right guy to come alone. Perhaps she is waiting for you. New women are always added to the higher number pages. This means that gals on a countrys page #1 have been members of Heart of Asia longer than gals on page #3 of the same country.

I don't see it mentioned how many times a ladys address has been sold.I don't want to write to a lady if she already has too many men writing to her.

We do not publish how many times a gals address has been given out, as it is her choice to answer as many letters as she wants. We contact all of these gals 4 or 5 times a year, so at any time she feels she wants to withdraw she can tell us. And we will remove her right away.

To give a rough idea of how many times a ladies address has been given out we have provided the Sweethearts and First Time Galleries. The First Time Gallery shows the thumbnail photo and bio of gals that are recent new members, whose addresses have not been ordered even once, for the "First Time". These gals wait for their first letters. As soon as their "First Time" occurs they are removed from the First Time Gallery pages. The Sweethearts Gallery is made up the the most popular gals. These gals have their addresses requested at a higher than average frequency.. Then there are gals who are no longer in the First Time Gallery, their address has been ordered at once, but not enough times to merit to be listed in the Sweethearts Gallery. Finally gals who have been members longer generally have their addresses sold more times than gals who are newer.

In order to help you identify those gals that you may have a better chance to get a response from, we have also indentified all members who have only had their address requested 0, 1, 2 or 3 times. This is actually more than 50% of our members. If you wish to improve your chances to get a response, these gals are worth writing to. The pages that index all members show a "*" next to the id number of the member with 3 or less address requests.

What is the difference between a woman's "nationality" and the country she is listed under ?

The country she is currently living in today, is the country she is listed under. For example many ladies originally from the Philippines work in overseas countries. Her nationality is how she describes her origin and cultural background.

Why are so many women from the Philippines living in other countries?

These ladies are hard working and responsible. By going overseas, and even by working as a housekeeper, she can earn much more money than she could in the Philippines. Even college graduates and other professionals often make more money working as housekeepers and domestics than they would back in the Philippines. The money earned usually goes to support the family left behind, to pay for education of brothers and sisters, and to pay for housing for parents and family.

How long does it take from the the time I put my order in the mail till I get the addresses I ordered?

If you snail mail directly to San Diego  it usually takes about 8 days to receive your order.  As soon as we get your order (if paid by postal order, cash, or bank draft) we process it the next working day, Monday to Friday.. Orders paid by personal checks are DELAYED a further 10 working days. So if you want your order quickly use a money order or postal order, DO NOT USE PERSONAL CHECK. If you have an email address be sure to give it to us so that we can send the addresses to you via email. If you have more than one email address, please advise both.  And please remember, when you are sending mail overseas, be sure to affix proper Air Mail postage, write AirMail on the envelope, and write the NAME of the country the letter is going to.

Why does Heart of Asia Romance Network have women from Europe and other parts of the world listed too?

Women from Asia will always be OUR first choice and make up the majority of the listings at Heart of Asia. However we have received applications from other parts of the world from women that you might like to meet. So, we include some listings of desirable women from other parts of the world as well.

I bought 9 addresses a few months ago and have had good results corresponding with the women. They seem sincere. And I've enjoyed writing with them. In fact one has become very special to me. We are engaged and plan to marry at the end of March. She wants her listing to be removed from the service. What is the procedure.?

Congratulations. We are happy to hear of another successful case. As soon as we hear from one of the ladies who have registered with Heart of Asia, telling us that she wants to drop out of the club, we remove her from the web pages. This usually takes about a week.

To notify us, she must send us a letter or note with her signature on it. Our policy is only to take action after she contacts us directly via snail mail (the same way she applied to us in the first place).. We do not accept instructions from anyone except her. This policy protects her privacy and protects her from someone falsely pretending to represent her interests. Also we can not accept instructions by email, as we must receive and verify her signature.

I see some of the same faces at different web sites. What's going on?

If a lady is serious about finding a mate through correspondence, she will probably register with more than one service. This gives her more chances to find the right man for her. Your best approach is to choose a correspondence club that is reliable and reasonably priced. Heart of Asia Romance Network is both, and we are the only club that guarantees our service. I'm over 50. Which gals will I have the best luck with?

It's hard to say exactly. If you are friendly and sincere, almost any of the women listed will correspond with you. In looking for marriage, our experience is that women originally from the Philippines frequently accept men 5 to 30 years older than them. Women from other parts generally prefer men 2 to 15 years older than them. Again, the most important thing is how you present yourself and how friendly and sincere you are. Even if you are not in the ideal age range that the women has written for her Perfect Mate, you should send her a letter anyway. You have nothing to lose, and you have a potential lifetime of happiness to gain.

I have selected a few ladies and wish to order their addresses, are they still available?

If you can locate their photo and profile 99% they are still listed. The best way is to check the Members Index. This is the most up to date listing of ALL active members. Twice weekly we update our pages. At these time any gal (usually 1 to 3 ) who has advised us during the week that she has found her "Perfect Match" is removed from the site. When ordering, especially by snail mail, you should provide at least one alternate if you are ordering 1 to 9 addreses and at least two, if you are ordering larger sets. In 99% of the orders we receive, alternates addresses are not sent. However, for the 1% of the cases it saves everyone's time and money if the alternate is already chosen. This way we can continue to give you fast service and the lowest rates on the internet.

Would these ladies be interested in hearing from an Englishman living in the UK, I notice some mention America and Canada as their preference?

The basic details that the gal has written, shown on her web page, should give you a general idea of who she is and her ideal case of who she wants to correspond with. In general, regardless of the country or nationality preferences she has written, we have seen that the gals are very willing to correspond with a man, regardless of where he lives or his nationality, providing he is friendly, and sincere. And providing he sends her a letter!

I live in Europe. I do not have a credit card. What is the quickest way to send payment to you?

For those who live outside the U.S.A., the quickest way to make payment is to go to your local money changer and convert your country's currency to US dollars. Then send your order and the US dollar currency via registered mail. Alternatively, visit the local branch of an American Bank, and purchase a US $ bankers draft. We do not accept drafts issued by non-American Banks, as the bank service fees charged to collect such drafts are $15-$30, usually greater then the original VALUE of the order. Also sometimes your foreign bank has an account at a US bank, usually New York, if this is the case, you can find small print on their check saying that their US $ check is payable on some bank in the USA. These checks are acceptable.

How can I improve my chances to find a female penpal  for me?

After you have selected the gals YOU would like to meet, concentrate your final choice with an emphasis on gals you believe may be interested in you ALSO; who would be interested to meet a man like you, in your situation, whatever it is. Write a decent, friendly letter. Enclose a photo. Send initial letters to dozens of gals, not just to a few. If you don't get an answer after a few weeks, send the same letter again with a note, explaining you have not recieved her answer and are sending a copy of your first letter in case it got lost.

Do I need to translate the addresses I recieve to the womans local language?

We do not believe that local language translation of addresses is necessary. The only people that say it is needed are the ones who are selling translation services. Each of our members has provided us an English language address. This is the same address we use to contact the members every three months. We know that the members get our mail addressed this way as they do reply to our mailings. Remember if any letter comes back undeliverable this is covered by our 2 for 1 guarantee.

When I placed my order I must have typed one of my selections wrong.

If we sent you a wrong address, and it is our fault, we will correct our error by sending you the correct address. And you can keep and use the extra address that was sent in error.

If you typed the wrong idnbr. Sorry but we can not offer you another address free of charge. However, if we believe it was an honest mistake we will split the cost of the error with you. You can recieve the originally intended address for 1/2 price. 1/2 of the unit price achieved with your order.

My wife has a cousin that she thinks should join your service. What should she do?

We only list a womans photograph and personal if she applies directly for membership and she has completely filled in and signed our application form. She can obtain an application by writing to Heart of Asia, PMB 159, 2658 Del Mar Heights Road, Del Mar, CA 92014 USA. We will mail her information about our service, and the application form. She should fill it in, sign it, and return it with 2 or more good quality photos. If we accept her (we always get more applications then we can accept) we will notifiy her and send her a copy of her bio page. I placed an online order a few days ago and I have not received the addresses I ordered yet?

Most online orders (99.9%) (Monday to Friday) are processed within 24 hours and the addresses sent out to the email address that was typed on the order. Sometimes the email message we sent is returned to us as undeliverable. This means that the email address you typed was wrong or there was a problem at your email service provider. Whenever we get back an undelivered message we double check your email address and try to send another email to you. If this also gets bounced back, then we will snail mail a copy of the bounced message (including the information you ordered) to you.

There have also been cases where orders are not received due to the unreliability of the email provider. This often means that you do not get our email message, AND we do not get a "undeliverable notice" so we are not aware of any problem..In our experience AOL is The WORST CASE. AOL regularly loses emails sent to its subscribers. We recommend that if you have a second email address, that is NOT AOL, please use it when placing your order.

Whenever you have waited more than 24 hours after submitting an online order and think it may be overdue, please send us a follow up email. In the email just mention the Order Reference Number of your order and request we trace it. We will reply either with a copy of the order if it was previously sent out, or with a status report.

You did not reply to my emails?

Yes we did! We check emails every day Monday to Friday, and reply to all. We are closed on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. Messages received during the weekend or holiday are replied to on the first following business day. Sometimes we have gotten a few emails over a few days from someone, who for some reason (either his email provider, or his faulty settings) can send emails to us, but does not seem to get our replies. In this case we make a copy of the messages and send them via snail mail. And hope he fixes his email settings or changes email providers soon. NOTE: AOL subscribers. If you don't get a message from us you have been expecting, please check the filter setting on your email reader. Apparently these can easily be made so tight that they filter out the REAL mail as well as spam.

I just ordered 15 addresses. I see that two of the women have the same address. How can I write to two women at the same address?

We would not expect you to write to two women at the same address. That would prove embarassing. Our policy is to provide replacements for the duplication. Usually our women members are very pleased with the new penpals they meet through our service so they tell their friends and relatives and encourage them to sign up. Sometimes this results in sisters or cousins who live at the same address  or for friends working at the same company to register. If you get two addresses that are the same, please email us right away and we will provide a replacement address for any duplicates.

I sent my letter using FEDEX. They say the girls address is not correct. What should I do?

We have checked this ladies file and note that we have not had any difficulty in corresponding with her, nor have we received any reports of problems with her address. Please resend your letter using the post office. The local postal carriers are more aware of their neighborhoods, and also more patient to research difficult to find locations.If the letter can not be delivered using the post office, you will be
entitled to 2 free of charge replacement addresses.

Often commericial delivery services, FEDEX is one of the most flagrant
offenders, only work where they make the most profit, ie centralised commercial areas. When I lived in Hong Kong, in Discovery Bay, a middle class estate
development of 10,000 familys mostly expats, they refused to deliver there.
They would telephone and tell us to come to their office. If we refused or they could not contact us by phone, they told the sender that they could not deliver the package. Our address was easily accessible by the post office, but not by Fedex.
